Hogar Ines Riesco Llona

Hogar Ines Riesco Llona is a large foster care home for girls in Santiago Chile.  It is privately run by the Salesian Sisters, a Catholic order of nuns.  The home is divided into 3 smaller houses to create a more home like feel.

There are currently 17 girls living at the Hogar, down from 43 in 2009. Over the last few years, God has worked in amazing ways, and with a lot of hard work from the sisters and staff, many of the girls have return 
home with family, while others have 
been adopted.   

With the smaller over all numbers, there are now 6-7 girls to a house. The smaller numbers make it possible for the staff to provide more enriched one on one time and mentoring for the children. In other words, more love and attention for each special kiddo! Many of the same caring and dedicated staff continue to work at the Hogar and make a difference each day.
