I know that we haven't been able to write much about this experience, and the experience of the after earthquake. There is so much to absorb and process, and still moving forward with regular life. Soon I will write more.

I've just been catching up on your blog. You are in my prayers and the prayers of Sacred Heart and the Brothers and Sisters of Charity. Fr. Kevin, Kathy and Marie Foster, Vivian, Betty O'Brien, and I all have dinner Sat. nights after Mass. This week your Mom and Dad joined us. They said you are sleeping thru the aftershocks now. Oh, my! It is a blessing to the communities you serve that you are there to help. The magnitude of this earthquake boggles my mind. The biggest quake I experienced in L.A. was about 7.2, and I wasn't at the epicenter. Always get under a table or stand in a doorway or narrow hall where buildings are strongest structurally. don't run out under power lines!!! You know that by now, I'm sure. Anyway, I love you two much. Remain always under the mantle of Our Blessed Mother. God bless!
